“The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.” -Alice Walker“

Introduction:
Do you ever feel like something invisible is holding you back from achieving your goals or stepping into the life you dream of? That “something” is often limiting beliefs—those sneaky little thoughts embedded in our subconscious that keep us from living our fullest potential.
Today, I’m diving into 5 common limiting beliefs and showing you how to break free from them, drawing inspiration and my learnings from from incredible thought leaders and my personal mentors like Marisa Peer, Vishen Lakhiani, Wayne Dyer, Joe Dispenza, and Regan Hillyer.
5 Common Limiting Beliefs That Hold You Back
(And How to Break Free)

1. “I’m Not Enough”
“I am not enough” is one of the most damaging beliefs we carry. It stops us from chasing our dreams, believing in our worth, and living with confidence. To overcome this, there are many practices you can do each day, suggests daily affirmations like “I am enough,” which rewires your brain to accept your inherent worth. Make it visible when you see the words ” IAM ENOUGH” each day your mind starts to form new beliefs, write it on your mirror say it each time you look in the mirror, make it a wall paper on your phone, post it on sticky notes all around your house. You can also listen to audio or self-hypnosis to install the new beliefs while creating new Neural pathways.

Action Tip: Write “I am enough” in places you’ll see every day—your mirror, phone screen, or journal. The more you remind yourself, the more your subconscious accepts it as truth.
2. “I Don’t Deserve Success”
This belief shows up when we think success, happiness, or abundance is for other people but not for us. Society often programs us with limiting beliefs through our upbringing and education systems. We need to “bend reality” by letting go of external expectations and redefining success on our own terms.

Action Tip: Reflect on your definition of success. Is it driven by someone else’s standards or your own? Create a success blueprint based on your desires, not society’s.
Task and Questions to ask yourself:
1. Do I really belief this?
2. Are these beliefs mine?
- Have I ever questioned these beliefs?
- Do these beliefs still align with me and who I am?
3. “Money Is the Root of All Evil”
So many people have a toxic relationship with money. Our beliefs about money directly impact our ability to receive it. By shifting your mindset to view money as a tool for good, you open yourself to new opportunities.
Action Tip: Practice a money affirmation daily, such as, “I welcome money as a tool for doing good and living abundantly.”
Task and Questions to ask yourself:
- What blocks do I think I have around money?
- What beliefs was I told about money when I was younger?
- What is my relationship currently with money? ( do you cringe when others talk about money, do have a relationship of sacristy, there is not enough to go around, I never have enough money, I need to find the money?)
- Do you currently belief you have money wounds?
- Do you have on to money and scare to spend it? How does that make you feel?
4. “Change Is Too Hard”
Joe Dispenza is a pioneer in neuroscience and the mind-body connection. He believes that many people stay stuck because they don’t believe they can change. Joe’s research shows that by consistently practicing new thoughts and behaviors, we can literally rewire our brains. Change isn’t hard—it just requires consistency and intention. Your mind learns by repetition
Action Tip: Visualize your future self. Spend time each day imagining your life after you’ve overcome this belief. What will you feel like? How will your life look? The more you rehearse your future, the easier change becomes.

5. “I’m Afraid of What Others Will Think”
Fear of judgment is a universal limiting belief. I want to emphasizes the importance of authenticity. There is only one of you and that is perfect! We all have the fear of being different so then wouldn’t that mean since we all have the fear we are actually more alike then different?
You need to live your life for you, not for anyone else. The truth is, people’s opinions have nothing to do with your worth or potential. It’s a reflection of who they are at that time and other’s options are none of your business. This belief can come from childhood…”What will the neighbors think” chances are they aren’t thinking, and if they are who cares their beliefs of you do not define do not live your life and certainly DO NOT pay your bills or fulfill your purpose in life.
Action Tip: Start small—say no to something you’d normally agree to out of fear of judgment. Or, share a vulnerable post on social media. Little steps toward authenticity will help you release this limiting belief.
